1. General Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. (Generally, if you're respectful, we're good). You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted over networks. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks via our payment processor, Stripe.

2. Handmade Products

The beauty of handmade items is that no two are exactly alike. Because our salves, soaks, and other goods are crafted in small batches, expect slight variations in color, texture, or scent. We make every effort to display colors and images accurately, but we can't guarantee your computer monitor's display of any color will be perfectly accurate.

3. Health & Allergy Disclaimer

Let's get this straight: our products are handmade self-care, not medicine. Nothing sold here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

• Check the Ingredients: We list ingredients for every product that has any — apparel and gift cards being the obvious exceptions. It is your responsibility to read them and know your own allergies.
• Patch Test: We highly recommend doing a small patch test on your skin before slathering anything everywhere.
• Liability: Y'allternative Living is not liable for any allergic reactions, sensitivities, or adverse effects that result from using our products. If you have a serious skin or health concern, see a doctor.

4. Accuracy & Errors

Sometimes we make mistakes. There may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the site is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

5. Intellectual Property

Everything you see on this site—the logo, the photos, the product names, the snarky copy—belongs to Y'allternative Living. Please don't steal, scrape, reproduce, duplicate, or copy any part of our website or products without our express written permission. It's just bad manners.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no case shall Y'allternative Living, our directors, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of any of our service or any products procured using the service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina.

8. Digital Gift Cards

Our gift cards are digital: the code is emailed to you or to the recipient you name at checkout, usually within minutes. They never expire and carry no fees of any kind — no dormancy, service or inactivity charges, ever. A card is redeemable for merchandise on this site only, in one or more orders until the balance is used up; any balance left after an order stays on the code.

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be reloaded, except where the law says otherwise. If you live in California and your remaining balance is under $15, you can ask us to pay it out in cash — email y.allternative.living@gmail.com with the code. Treat the code like cash: we cannot replace a code that is lost, shared or used by someone else, and a card cannot be used to buy another gift card. Sales tax is charged when the card is redeemed, not when it is bought.

You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time at this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website.
